Jesus didn’t hang from a shameful tree. Many other questionable medaphores use for the sake of the song that change the historical aspects of Jesus history. This is disrespectful and give confusing information. This is egoic to find your song more important than the facts.
I understand your intensions are good you just need to make it right. The song doesnt have to rhyme.

This guy is great compared to half the so called ” god speaks to me” people out on the air at least he is honest and up front and is straight forward about his thoughts about god and jesus.
